What You Need:
1/2 C water
1 T dry onion soup mix
1/2 t oregano
1/2 (9 oz) pkg. frozen Italian green beans, thawed
1 T pimento, chopped
How to Make It:
Pour the water into a small saucepan and place the pan over medium high heat.
Stir in the soup mix and oregano.
Add the green beans and bring the water to a gentle boil.
Reduce the heat to medium and simmer the beans for 8 minutes or until as tender as you like.
Drain the water from the beans and place the beans into a serving dish.
Stir in the pimento until well combined.
Serves: 2
These beans will pull those heart strings for sure. A half quarter of fresh Italian green beans can be used in place of the frozen beans if you prefer.
